"people ask me all the time, am i crazy?"
- Jimmy duggan

Jimmy is just crazy enough to be one of the most prominent steeplechase jockeys in the United Kingdom. He has competed twice in the Grand National and in over 3,500 races. Here in the states, he is a steeplechase analyst for the TVG Network and provides commentary for the HCP Sports Channel. He also is training for a legends race back in the UK. In the video above, Jimmy tells us about his worst injury.

“It is the finite art of man and horse in combination at 30 mph over five-foot jumps. The danger is enormous, and perfecting the art is compulsive,” Jimmy told me as I interviewed him and his wife Jane. Watch the videos to find out more about this exhilarating sport.

"It actually made me cry to see the synchronicity between a horse and rider."

Jimmy on seeing his wife Jane ride for the very first time.

For the past eleven years, Jimmy has covered international racing for TVG sports. He’s is just as at home behind the camera as he is on horse going 40 miles per hour. Jimmy’s love for the sport has made him the most respected voice in the sport and an ambassador here in the U.S.
